Important Dermaplaning Notes
It’s important to note that your hair will grow back exactly the same color and thickness as it was previously. However, because you are removing the dead layer of skin and vellus hair, your skin will appear much brighter than you’ve experienced in the past, and then after the regrowth, it seems darker. Each time you get dermaplaned, you’re removing about two to three weeks’ worth of dead skin cells. Dermaplaning is recommended every three to four weeks.

A typical Dermaplaning session lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the extent of the treatment area. For optimal results and maintaining smooth, radiant skin, it’s generally recommended to undergo Dermaplaning every 3-4 weeks.
Dermaplaning is a low-risk procedure with minimal side effects. Some clients may experience slight redness immediately after the treatment, but it usually subsides within a few hours. As it’s a non-invasive treatment, there’s no significant downtime. However, your skin may be more sensitive to the sun, so wearing sunscreen post-treatment is essential.
